If you have diabetes, you’re not alone. Nearly 30 million people in the United States have diabetes with Type 2, or insulin resistant, being the most common.
If you have diabetes or have been recently diagnosed, it’s important to get routine treatment. Diabetes increases the risk of heart disease and stroke and, if left untreated, can lead to complications such as blindness, kidney disease or amputations of the foot or leg.
At Meadows Health, we’re here to help. We offer group and private educational classes specifically designed for those with diabetes. Participants learn about healthy eating, how to monitor glucose levels and avoid complications, and other important topics for living a longer, healthier life.
Register for an upcoming class. For more information, contact Susan McLendon at 912.535.5100 or by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact Areli Alvares at 912.538.5325 or by email at: email@example.com.
This service is covered by Medicare and most private health insurance.
